A Medicare Supplement Health Insurance policy has an open enrollment period of three months prior and three months past the age of 65. No health questions are asked.

This plan can also be purchased for those eligible for Social Security Disability who are under the age of 65. This plan covers the Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical) deductibles and 20% of the allowable charges approved by Medicare. Medicare pays 80% of the allowable charges.

A rider to pay for the Part B Excess charges for providers who don’t accept Medicare assignment can also be added as can a rider for Foreign Travel.
